The covid-19 cases in the country have increased tremendously at a very alarming rate and we foresee a scenario where the country will go under lockdown again very soon. There is also a lot of hunger and economic hardship in the country also and a lot of people are suffering.

Here at Spring Valley thanks to you our partners and friends we have not only been able to feed our children but Pastor Stanley and tr. Alice have been able to reach it out and feed all the children of the community and the neediest families in the area. The school is also giving free water to the community from the school water well because there is a huge water shortage in Kenya due to insufficient rains.

The children who are staying in the school are being kept busy learning and doing extracurricular activities. Today the staff taught the children who to properly sort laundry and wash their clothes and they were also taught how to properly wash dishes and dry them. It was a very fun activity with a lot of laughter and it was nice to see the children so happy. They have been a bit low because the entire school year was cancelled and they will have to repeat it next year so this activity really cheered them up.
We want to thank you our partners and friends for all you do for us and continue to do for us none of this would be possible without each one of you. Please let us continue to pray for one another and for this pandemic to end so that we can all see each other again soon.
