The children who stay in the school had a fun day today doing extracurricular activities with the staff. They have been really bored with schools being shut for so long. Pastor Stanley, Tr. Alice, Tr. Jesse and the staff try to keep them busy with various activities so they can develop other skills and learn something new every day. Today some of the students were learning how to cook and present a meal professionally, while others did some spring cleaning for all the offices and others learned how to grow plants and vegetables using pots. It was a fun day filled with laughter and the children really enjoyed themselves and learned new skills.
The COVID cases in the country are still on an all-time high and we are anticipating that the president will lock down the country again. The pandemic has causes a great economic crisis in Kenya and globally and millions of Kenyans are jobless, hungry and desperate.
Pastor Stanley and Tr. Alice are working hard to feed the children in the community and give food baskets to the needy families to prevent starvation and other hunger related illnesses and complications.
We want to thank you our partners for your support we cannot do this without you and we thank God for each one of you. Every day the children and staff take the time to pray for each one of you for the Lord to protect and watch over you especially now during these difficult times. May the Lord Bless you always.
