The cases of COVID-19 in Kenya are on the rise and yesterday we recorded an all-time high of 960 cases reported in one day. The trend is worrying because the hospitals are starting to get full and one hospital in Nairobi even shut down last week because over 22 of their medical personnel and nurses tested positive for the virus. The economy is also doing terribly with a lot of companies and hotels having shut down due to lack of visitors, customers and tourists.
On Sunday July 26th Pastor Stanley and the congregation took time during the church service to pray for the end of the pandemic, to pray for the safety of you our partners and the economic hardships people in Kenya and all around the world are facing.
The children of the community and Spring Valley are still being fed by the school and church and every week Tr. Alice and Pastor Stanley identify the neediest families in Spring Valley and they give them a food basket.
We want to express our deepest gratitude to you our partners for your continuous support and love you show to the children of Spring Valley. Your support is always very timely especially in this difficult season we are in May the Lord continue to bless you always and watch over each one of you.
